the balaclava monologues was a series of short stories spoken to a camera that contained humerous anecdotes based on tragic sexual experiences. Spoken in a black balaclava, the videos had yellow subtitles and no sound. Two large scale wall paintings of balaclava's were created on either sides of the television. It was exhibited alonside Emily Ferretti and Carly Fischer's work for the show "one night only" at AREA contemporary art space in 2004. |
